FOTsis: European Field Operational Test on Safe, Intelligent and Sustainable Road Operation
FOTsis is an high scope European project with the objective of testing the management systems of road infrastructures involved in the operation of seven cooperatives near the market to evaluate in detail both effectiveness and potential for large-scale deployments in European roads. Specifically, FOTsis will test the capacity of road infrastructures to incorporate technological systems in 9 validation scenarios in four European Communities: Spain, Portugal, Germany and Greece providing the following services:

- S2: Security incident management
- S3: Smart congestion control
- S4: Dynamic route planning
- S5: Particular Vehicle Tracking
- S6: Advanced execution
- S7: Assessment of infrastructure security
