IoT6: Universal Integration of the Internet of Things Through an IPv6-based Service Oriented Architecture enabling heterogenous components interoperability
IoT6 is a European project within FP7 framework program of the Internet of Things. Its aim is to exploit IPv6 potential of and related standards (6LoWPAN, CORE, COAP, etc.) to meet the challenges and IoT current fragmentation.
Its main challenges and objectives are the research, design and development of a highly scalable IPv6-based and service-oriented architecture, capable of meeting the requirements of interoperability, mobility, cloud integration and intelligence distribution among heterogeneous and intelligent components.
